Abstract:
An assessment of the infrared radiation is made on the entire technological process in the glass industry, and data are given for exposure timing. A conclusion is given that the glass-blowers are constantly under the effect of powerful intensities of infrared radiation of 1.5 to 7 cm/cm2/min. Most significant is the exposure to 1.5 cal/cm2/min. This makes the infrared radiation a serious risk factor in the glass industry.
