Imatinib augments standard malaria combination therapy without added toxicity

Imatinib combined with standard malaria treatment (SOC) improved patient outcomes by accelerating parasite clearance and reducing fever. This combination therapy showed no increased toxicity and prevented delayed parasite clearance in malaria patients.
