Constitutive Cytomorphologic Features of Medullary Thyroid Carcinoma Using Different Staining Methods

Accurate preoperative diagnosis of medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC) is improved by analyzing fine-needle aspiration (FNA) smear morphology. Key features are reliably identified across Papanicolaou, hematoxylin-eosin, and Romanowsky stains.
