Multicenter Study Evaluating Nitrous Oxide Use for Labor Analgesia at High- and Low-Altitude Institutions

Nitrous oxide (N2O) for labor analgesia showed fewer side effects at high altitudes due to lower gas partial pressure. Conversion rates to other methods did not significantly differ by altitude, but low-altitude births had more side effects.
