Purpose of the Study:

  • To evaluate the agreement between pharmacy students using two screening tools (AT-HARM10 and DRA) and a multidisciplinary panel in identifying MRRs.
  • To assess the potential of pharmacy students in improving the efficiency of MRR identification.

  • Retrospective study of 366 readmissions within 30 days post-discharge.
  • Two pharmacy students independently applied the AT-HARM10 tool and DRA guide to identify MRRs.

  • Students can potentially serve as a valuable resource for pre-screening potential MRRs, saving healthcare professional time.
  • The use of students may lead to overestimation of MRRs and the potential to miss some true MRRs.
