Altered Heschl's gyrus duplication pattern in first-episode schizophrenia

Schizophrenia patients show higher rates of Heschl's gyrus (HG) duplication patterns and reduced gray matter volume in the superior temporal lobe. These findings suggest early neurodevelopmental issues in schizophrenia (Sz).
