Construct validity and reliability of tests for sacroiliac dysfunction: standing flexion test (STFT) and sitting

The standing flexion test (STFT) shows good construct validity and reliability for assessing sacroiliac joint (SIJ) dysfunction in healthy individuals. However, the sitting flexion test (SIFT) demonstrated poor validity and reliability for SIJ mobility assessment.

- Further research is recommended for palpatory tests of SIJ mobility, particularly in symptomatic populations.
