Summary

Aluminum allergy is detected using patch testing with aluminum chloride hexahydrate (ACH) and aluminum lactate (AL), with similar frequencies observed. ACH 10.0% petrolatum is recommended for diagnosing aluminum contact allergy in both adults and children.
