Development and validation of methods to visualize conventional aqueous outflow pathways in canine primary angle

Pathology in the post-trabecular aqueous outflow pathway contributes to canine primary angle closure glaucoma (PACG). Aqueous angiography and OCT revealed collapsed intra-scleral vascular profiles in PACG eyes, indicating a potential cause for persistent high intraocular pressure (IOP).

Conclusions:
- Distal aqueous outflow channels are not identifiable by AA in canine PACG eyes.

- These findings suggest impaired post-trabecular aqueous outflow contributes to PACG in dogs.
