Choosing between surgical myectomy and alcohol septal ablation for hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) with left ventricular outflow tract obstruction (LVOTO) remains challenging. A multidisciplinary HCM heart team approach is emerging to optimize patient care and treatment selection.
