The relationship between low back pain and the basic lumbar posture at work: a retrospective cross-sectional study

Workers who predominantly walk may have a lower likelihood of reporting low back pain (LBP) over the past year compared to those who stand. Personal and clinical factors were also associated with LBP.

- Standing posture may increase the likelihood of reporting LBP over the past year compared to walking.
- Personal and clinical factors, rather than work-related postures, were more consistently associated with both past-year and recent LBP.
