Purpose of the Study:

  • To investigate self-reported driving difficulty in patients with bilateral cataract.
  • To assess the relationship between visual functions (visual acuity and contrast sensitivity) and driving difficulty.

Main Methods:

  • A cross-sectional study included 99 participants aged 50+ with bilateral cataracts and regular driving habits.
  • Participants completed the self-reported Driving Difficulty Questionnaire.
  • Visual functions including visual acuity and contrast sensitivity were measured.
