GFICLEE: ultrafast tree-based phylogenetic profile method inferring gene function at the genomic-wide level

We developed GFICLEE, a new phylogenetic profiling algorithm that efficiently predicts gene function by identifying evolutionary loss events. This method offers improved accuracy and speed for genome-wide analysis on personal computers.
