To enhance embolization accuracy, we developed a novel radiopaque embolic agent consisting of poly(sucrose allyl ether) incorporated with tantalum nanoparticles. Ta@PSAE exhibited sustained CT visibility (∼1000 HU) over 21 days following renal artery embolization, along with excellent biocompatibility, in vivo radiopacity, and embolization efficacy.
