Abstract:
Two luminescent HOFs, NPy-TTA and NVPy-TTA, were synthesized from triphenylamine fluorophores with distinct solid-state emission properties. NPy-TTA delivers good sensitivity and selectivity toward nitroaromatic vapor detection. DFT simulations disclosed a synergistic fluorescence "turn-off" quenching mechanism.
