Continuous positive airway pressure affects mitochondrial function and exhaled PGC1-α levels in obstructive sleep

Continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) treatment normalized mitochondrial function and PGC1-α levels in exhaled breath condensate (EBC) for obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) patients. These biomarkers in EBC, unlike plasma, reflect OSA-related mitochondrial changes.
