This study introduces an efficient design method for two degree-of-freedom (2-DoF) capacitive microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) accelerometers. The approach optimizes multiple performance metrics simultaneously using Design and Analysis of Computer Experiments (DACE) and Gaussian Process (GP) modeling.
