Epiretinal proliferation after rhegmatogenous retinal detachment

Epiretinal proliferation (ERP) is a late complication after rhegmatogenous retinal detachment (RRD) surgery, appearing in 9.3% of cases. It is more common in eyes with complex RRD histories, including multiple surgeries and silicone oil use.
