Abstract:
Retraction: "Silencing ARHGAP9 correlates with the risk of breast cancer and inhibits the proliferation, migration, and invasion of breast cancer," by Tianyi Wang and Minwen Ha, J Cell Biochem. 2018; 7747-7756: The above article, published online on 15 June 2018 in Wiley Online Library (https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.1002/jcb.27127), has been retracted by agreement between the journal's Editor in Chief, Prof. Dr. Christian Behl, and Wiley Periodicals LLC. The retraction has been agreed after the authors asked to correct the article. An investigation revealed several flaws and inconsistencies between results presented and experimental methods described, thus the editors consider the conclusions of this article to be invalid.

Somatic Spinal Reflexes
One of the most well-known somatic spinal reflexes is the stretch reflex, which is activated by the sudden stretching of a muscle. This reflex involves the activation of specialized sensory receptors called muscle spindles, which are located in the muscle tissue and detect changes in the length and speed of muscle contractions. When a muscle is suddenly...

Relaxation of Skeletal Muscles
When an action potential reaches the axon terminal, it depolarizes the membrane and opens voltage-gated sodium channels. Sodium ions enter the cell, further depolarizing the presynaptic membrane. This depolarization causes voltage-gated calcium channels to open....
