Abstract:
The objective of this paper is to describe a novel technique for handling an ultrasound transducer while performing sterile ultrasound guided procedures. This novel technique involves placement of the transducer inside the sterile glove on the hand of the operator. This technique allows the operator access to use of both hands without having to pass the transducer to an assistant.
