"How Do We Do This at a Distance?!" A Descriptive Study of Remote Undergraduate Research Programs during COVID-19

Remote undergraduate research programs in life sciences offered during COVID-19 showed strengths in mentorship and professional development but faced challenges in cohort building and technology. These remote Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REUs) show promise for future expansion.
