Choroidal changes and associations with visual acuity in diabetic patients

Diabetic retinopathy (DR) patients show reduced choroidal vascularity index (CVI), especially after treatment. This CVI, a measure of choroidal changes, correlates with visual acuity in treated DR eyes, unlike retinal thickness.
