Correlation Between CT Severity Scoring and Diabetes Mellitus in Patients With COVID-19 Infection

Diabetic patients with COVID-19 show significantly higher lung involvement and severity scores on chest CT scans compared to non-diabetic individuals. This indicates an increased risk for severe coronavirus disease 2019 in those with diabetes mellitus.
