Persistent post-COVID-19 symptoms affect over two-thirds of patients, particularly those with intensive care unit-acquired pneumonia (ICUAP) and mechanical ventilation. Female sex, longer ICU stays, and ARDS are also key factors in long-term poor health post-COVID-19.
