A multicenter study of hemodialysis using individualized dialysate potassium concentrations

Hypokalemia and serum potassium fluctuations are common in maintenance hemodialysis (MHD) patients. Individualized dialysate potassium concentration (KD) reduces hypokalemia incidence compared to a uniform KD of 2.0 mmol/L.
