    Summary

    Cytoreductive surgery (CRS) plus hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC) is effective for peritoneal carcinomatosis. Repeated CRS + HIPEC, second-look operations, and prophylactic HIPEC can improve outcomes, even after disease recurrence.
