  • To systematically review and meta-analyze the effectiveness of functional rhinoplasty in improving nasal obstruction caused by nasal valve dysfunction.

  • A comprehensive literature search was performed across PubMed, EMBASE, and Cochrane Library databases.
  • Included studies evaluated nasal obstruction symptoms before and after FRP in patients with nasal valve problems.
  • A meta-analysis of 43 studies (2024 patients) was conducted.

  • Further well-designed studies are necessary to elucidate the relationships and long-term outcomes more thoroughly.
