The role of tissue typing in cutaneous oncology
The Medical Clinics of North America
|January 1, 1986
Abstract:
The typing of cells in the skin with specific monoclonal antibodies is now routine. Such tissue typing appears to play a critical role in the early diagnosis, accurate classification, and therapeutic decisions for cutaneous oncology, especially lymphomas. Identification and production of tumor-specific antibodies will further enhance the potential of these reagents in oncology.
