The AliveCor KardiaMobile (KM) device can feasibly detect atrial fibrillation (AF) in select acute ischemic stroke (AIS) patients. This portable electrocardiography recorder demonstrated high sensitivity and specificity for AF detection in younger AIS patients with better neurological function.
