Bracket Bonding to All-Ceramic Materials with Universal Adhesives

Universal adhesives show promise for bracket bonding to polished lithium disilicate (LDS) and monolithic zirconia (MZ) ceramic surfaces. However, adhesion to glazed surfaces remains a clinical challenge for all tested adhesives.

- Current universal adhesives may not provide sufficient bond strength for bracket adhesion to glazed ceramic surfaces.
- Further research is needed to optimize adhesion to glazed ceramic restorations in orthodontics.
