Abstract:
Retraction: "Combined therapy using LHRH-PE40 and anti-CD40 dendritic cells substantially eliminate tumor cells" by Limin Zhang, TianJiao Du, DongBin Ma, Fang Guo, ZhenWei Li, and Hua Yan, J Cell Biochem. 2019; 8093-8100. The above article, published online on 28 November 2018 in Wiley Online Library (doi:10.1002/jcb.28088), has been retracted by agreement between the authors, the journal's Editor in Chief, Prof. Dr. Christian Behl, and Wiley Periodicals LLC. The retraction has been agreed after the authors stated that unintentional errors occurred during the research process, and the experimental results cannot be verified. Thus, the conclusions are considered to be invalid.

Somatic Spinal Reflexes
One of the most well-known somatic spinal reflexes is the stretch reflex, which is activated by the sudden stretching of a muscle. This reflex involves the activation of specialized sensory receptors called muscle spindles, which are located in the muscle tissue and detect changes in the length and speed of muscle contractions. When a muscle is suddenly...

Relaxation of Skeletal Muscles
When an action potential reaches the axon terminal, it depolarizes the membrane and opens voltage-gated sodium channels. Sodium ions enter the cell, further depolarizing the presynaptic membrane. This depolarization causes voltage-gated calcium channels to open....
