Summary

Antimalarial medications like chloroquine or hydroxychloroquine did not accelerate viral clearance in COVID-19 patients. This study found no significant difference in negative SARS-CoV-2 polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test rates between intervention and supportive care groups.
