Summary

This study introduces a novel polyallylamine hydrochloride (PAH)-mediated metal growth method for enhanced signal amplification in gold nanoparticle-based immunochromatographic assays (AuNP-ICA). This technique improves the detection limit for Escherichia coli O157:H7, offering a more sensitive and stable diagnostic tool.
