Electrophysiologic evaluation of patients with preexcitation syndromes
Cardiology Clinics
|August 1, 1986
Abstract:
The evaluation of patients with preexcitation syndromes includes the electrophysiologic documentation of preexcitation and an evaluation of the functional status of the accessory pathway. Electrophysiologic techniques allow identification of the site of the accessory pathway and its participation in arrhythmias. Electrophysiologic testing can also be used to evaluate pharmacologic, device, and surgical therapy.
