[Ovarian torsion in early childhood]

Three cases of torsion of normal the uterine adnexa in premenarcheal girls are reported. The possible etiopathogenic mechanisms are commented, and the operative management is discussed. The value of ultrasonography in early diagnosis is pointed out.
