[What can one expect of immunostimulants in the clinical setting?]
Comparative Immunology, Microbiology and Infectious Diseases

Abstract:
There exist many potential clinical indications of immunostimulants. Experimental models have elicited great hopes that have not always been confirmed by the preliminary clinical trials, too often performed with minor products. One may hope that new agents under study will allow to extend the use of immunostimulants in immunodeficiency diseases, infections, autoimmune diseases, atopy and cancers.
