Calibration of automated water-path breast ultrasound scanners

Simple calibration procedures that can be performed by a technologist for Ausonics, Labsonics, and Technicare automated water-path breast scanners are described. These procedures can be applied to each unit to test transducer resolution, slice thickness, and sensitivity.
