Hyphenated structural identification of additives in transmission fluids

This study introduces a novel analytical method for identifying key lubricant additives. Supercritical fluid chromatography coupled with NMR spectroscopy and mass spectrometry successfully identified alkylated diphenylamines, crucial antioxidants in transmission fluids.
