Relationship between severity of obstructive sleep apnea and benign prostatic hyperplasia

Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is linked to benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), especially in younger men. Age is a risk factor for BPH in all men with OSA, while apnea-hypopnea index (AHI) is significant only in younger individuals.
