Abstract:
All inorganic perovskite nanocrystals (NCs) have wide practical applications for their remarkable optoelectronic properties. To obtain blue-emitting perovskites with high photoluminescence quantum yield and room-temperature ferromagnetism, CsPb1- Fe (Br1- Cl )3 NCs were synthesized using a hot injection method. The effects of the cation-anion co-exchange on the structural, luminescent and magnetic properties of CsPbBr3 NCs were studied by X-ray diffraction spectroscopy, photoluminescence spectroscopy, transmission electron microscopy, field emission scanning electron microscopy, and vibrating sample magnetometer. The results indicated that there was cation-anion co-exchange in CsPb1- Fe (Br1- Cl )3 NCs, while the band-edge energies and PLQY were mainly affected by the anion exchange. The ferromagnetism of CsPb1- Fe (Br1- Cl )3 NCs had been observed at room temperature, and there was an increase in saturation magnetization with increasing Fe concentration.

Ionic Crystal Structures
Most monatomic ions behave as charged spheres, and their attraction for ions of opposite charge is the same in every direction. Consequently, stable structures for ionic compounds result (1) when ions of one charge are surrounded by as many ions as possible of the opposite...

Crystal Field Theory - Octahedral Complexes
To explain the observed behavior of transition metal complexes (such as colors), a model involving electrostatic interactions between the electrons from the ligands and the electrons in the unhybridized d orbitals of the central metal atom has been developed. This electrostatic model is crystal field theory (CFT). It helps to understand, interpret, and predict the colors, magnetic behavior, and some structures of coordination compounds of transition metals.
CFT focuses on...
