Background:

Deep palmar burns pose significant risks, including exposure of vital structures and potential amputation.
Existing surgical techniques, like abdominal flaps, are often unsuitable for palmar burns due to patient positioning and flap thickness.
Limited literature exists on effective surgical coverage for deep palmar tissue defects.

Purpose of the Study:

To evaluate the efficacy of the contralateral arm bag-shaped flap for treating deep palmar burns with tissue exposure.
To highlight the advantages of this technique over traditional methods for palmar burn reconstruction.

Main Methods:

The study involved two patients with deep palmar burns and exposed tissues.
A contralateral arm bag-shaped flap was surgically employed for reconstruction in both cases.
Postoperative outcomes and patient comfort were assessed.

Both patients experienced favorable postoperative progression with complete wound closure.
