Abstract:
Antiretroviral therapy has transformed HIV prevention and treatment, but current life-long daily dosing poses challenges. Overton et al.1 show that a combination ART formulation administered intramuscularly every 8 weeks is as safe and efficacious as 4-week dosing. Efforts must now focus on ensuring global access.
