    Background:

    • Repeated endothelial injury is a known trigger for lipid-rich lesion development in arteries.

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To investigate the impact of severe thrombocytopenia (low platelet count) on the formation of lipid-rich lesions following repeated endothelial injury.
    • To determine the relationship between thrombus deposition and lipid accumulation in the arterial wall.

    • Experimental animal models were subjected to repeated endothelial injury.
    • Animals were divided into groups with normal platelet counts and severely thrombocytopenic groups.
