Abstract
Background:
Malignant change of intralaryngeal ectopic thyroid tissues to papillary thyroid cancer is extremely rare.
Method:
A case that was successfully managed with a conservation surgery of the larynx and an interval total thyroidectomy is presented.
Conclusion:
High index of suspicion and optimised surgery yields the best outcome as demonstrated in the description.
