[Erythrocyte phenotypes and frequency of ABO system genes in the Senegalese population]

The determination of ABO blood groups, sub-groups of A and genic frequencies in 4,083 Senegalese subjects show an important frequency of the gene O (0.7042), similar frequencies of the gene A and B. The frequencies of the genes A1 and A2 are respectively 0.1248 and 0.0223.
