Abstract:
Extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) technology has experienced from nothing, evolving from high-Tech technology with high mortality to the well-known last life-saving weapon. At present, ECMO technology is booming and widely used in the treatment of patients with severe respiratory failure and cardiogenic shock. In recent years, the use of ECMO in China has also made great progress, but there are some problems in the construction of ECMO centers and ECMO-related technologies. The article aims to discuss the current situation and problems faced in ECMO use in China, such as insufficient cases, regional differences, centre construction and related technical issues.
