Summary
Dermal nonneural granular cell tumors are rare skin neoplasms. This case report details a chest wall presentation with a favorable prognosis after complete surgical removal.

Background:
- Dermal nonneural granular cell tumor (GCT) is a rare neoplasm.
- First described in 1991, its histogenesis remains uncertain.
- Typically occurs on the back, extremities, and head and neck.
Observation:
- A 42-year-old male presented with a 1.8 x 1.5 cm polypoid skin nodule on the anterior chest wall.
- Microscopic examination revealed a diffuse infiltrate of S-100 negative polygonal cells with granular cytoplasm and vesicular nuclei.
Findings:
- The lesion was completely excised with tumor-free margins.
- The diagnosis of dermal nonneural GCT was confirmed.
- No recurrence was observed during a 6-month follow-up period.
Implications:
- This case adds to the limited reported cases of dermal nonneural GCT in adults.
- Complete surgical excision appears to be an effective treatment.
- The generally good prognosis for this rare tumor is supported by this case.
