Pediatric Critical Care Nursing Research Priorities in Asia: An eDelphi Study

• Top research topics included early recognition of patient deterioration (mean 5.58), prevention of healthcare-associated infections (mean 5.47), and interventions for compassion fatigue (mean 5.45).
• Priority research domains were end-of-life care (mean 5.34), professionalism (mean 5.34), and pain, sedation, and delirium management (mean 5.32).

Conclusions:

• This study established the first nursing research priorities for pediatric critical care in Asia.
• The findings provide a framework for future collaborative research initiatives in the region.
