Long-term experience with intraoperative electron radiation therapy boost in extremity sarcoma

This study evaluated preoperative external beam radiation therapy (EBRT), limb-sparing surgery (LSS), and intraoperative electron radiation therapy (IOERT) for extremity soft tissue sarcoma (eSTS). The combined approach achieved high local control and low severe toxicity in patients with eSTS.
