Aquagenic keratoderma causes wrinkling and papules on palms after water contact. This underdiagnosed condition may indicate underlying systemic diseases like cystic fibrosis.

Background:
- Aquagenic keratoderma is a skin condition triggered by water exposure, presenting as papules and macerated plaques on palms and soles.

- The authors propose a descriptive nomenclature: "whitish macerated aquagenic plaques of the acrosyringium".
